THE PROJECT
Santa Esther Photovoltaic Plant in Chile is part of a series of projects developed by TCI for Sungrow Power Chile SpA. It is a plant categorized as Small and Medium Distributed Generation (PMGD), located near San Carlos, in the Ñuble Region, in southern Chile. Construction began in 2021. TCI was in charge of the Balance of System, including:
- Detailed engineering of the plant;
- Supply of equipment to be installed;
- Installation of all equipment, modules, tracker, inverter and medium voltage station;
- Execution of the Civil Works;
- Execution of the Electrical Works;
- Execution of the Interconnection System to the National Electric Grid;
- Installation and Start-up of the Security System;
- Installation and Start-up of the Monitoring System;
- Installation and Start-up of the Communications System;
- Meteorological Stations;
- Delivery of Quality Dossier as built.
The plant has an installed power of 3 MW and consists of 6,720 photovoltaic panels type LR4-72HBD, occupying an area of 8 ha.
